True Life AME Zion mission and desire is to daily be transformed into the likeness of Jesus Christ. Our goal is to have hearts that remain pliable in the hands of the Lord. By the grace of God, we have been called to equip the saints for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the Body of Christ that we all continue to grow and mature into a more intimate knowledge of Him. As we come together in unity of faith, we will learn to walk in Godly character, displaying the love and compassion of Jesus Christ to everyone. We all have gifts according to the grace that has been given to us by God. Each gift is necessary in the Body of Christ to advance the Kingdom of God. We all are called to be His representatives in the earth; our ultimate goal is to fulfill the will of the Father.

University AMEZ is a church that has been uniquely placed by God to reach the least, the lost and the lonely in the Bay Area - and around the world. It's a church that honors the purpose of the Methodist traditions - and speaks to the heart of the post-modern world. It's a Church that strives to reach its community, care for its people, and grow deeper in Christ.
