Rev. Edward "Ed" Prothro-Harris, Sr., was born in Philadelphia, PA and raised in Rocky Mountain, North Carolina. Edward Prothro-Harris graduated from Rocky Mount Senior High School in Rocky Mount, N.C. and attended East Carolina University, in Greenville, N.C.He is an alumnus of St. Mary's College in Moraga, CA, where he acquired a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management.Rev. Prothro-Harris has plans to re-connect with St. Mary's for a Master's degree in Leadership and to connect with Newburgh Seminary in early 2017.

Since 2002, Pastor Ed has also devoted himself to Pastoral Ministry as the former Pastor of the Stewart Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church of Redwood City, CA; the St. James A.M.E. Zion Church of San Mateo, CA, and the University A.M.E. Zion Church of Palo Alto, CA. Pastor Ed received his Deacon and Elder ordinations under the hand of the late, Bishop Clarence Carr, in 2002 and 2004, respectively. Previously, he also Pastored the Mt. Pisgah A.M.E. Zion Church, fondly called "The Top" where "God's Plan, Promise and Provision" wereproclaimed! He is currently the Lead/Founding Pastor of The Agape Fellowship Church located in California's Eastern Contra Costa County community of Brentwood/DiscoveryBay built on the foundation of God's unconditional love for all people.At Agape Fellowship "We've got nothin' but Love for you".Pastor Prothro-Harris and family are a dynamic combination of gifted musicians, vocalists and preachers, who are known for leading high, spirit-filled Praise and Worship experiences.Pastor Ed is also a member of the "Mighty Men ofFaith" Gospel Quartet anda proud member of the Theta Pi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
